Premium Transportation was started in September of 1997 by Mike Hogan. It started off as an entrepreneurial venture, drawing on Mike's extensive knowledge and experience in the industry.

Starting off as a driver himself, then moving into the dispatch, then management and finally General Manager at various different trucking companies. As you can see there, there is no part of the business that he hasn't had hands on experience working with. Gaining knowledge and expertise at his previous positions, Mike had created a business model of his own and decided to start his own business.

The goal was to start small with a select few customers, service them properly and grow from there. Since the beginning days Premium has grown from a one man operation working in a one room office, to a company employing over 20 Owner/Operators and 6 office staff working from a brand new 10,000 square foot warehouse and office building.
